Partnership and Facilitation

During our work in classrooms, we supported families of our multilingual students in building a parent learning and advice network. As an instructional coach, we built trusting relationships with the teachers we served. Our education research experience has been grounded in a research-practice partnership model, where sustained relationships form the foundation for inquiry and research use. We are guided by the principle that relationships matter, and we seek opportunities to build - and help our partners build - ongoing, productive relationships and networks that support students and systems. We have experience facilitating statewide research-practice partnerships, planning and implementing research agenda-setting workshops, guiding teacher and leader continuous improvement cycles, and both one-time and continuing initiatives focused on research use in applied settings.
